Field hockey could use some improvements.

They need longer sticks. The mini sticks where they have to bend over to field the ball is silly. The women apparently have to wear skorts. Also, I wonder if maybe a huskier physique would lend itself better to this sport, like in rugby. Any way you cut it, though, I see why they don’t start with a “puck drop”. The ref would get killed. No pads, no helmets (maybe shin guards?) Seeing these women coming at you at full speed with a stick in their hand is terrifying.
