yeah, I'm just learning about the NHL so going into the draft I knew two names - the kid drafted #1 overall, and the kid who asked not to be drafted.

So I was shocked to see the Habs took him #1- it is a horrible message for the franchise to send, and they definitely could have gotten him with a lower round pick if they were bound and determined to draft him
