Unifying the belts should help some.

A divided championship made the lack of depth even more of a problem.
They really need at least 2-3 good fighters to come out of the next TUF.
Mirko backing out on his agreement didn't help things, either.
They might want to re-sign Arlovski. I don't know when they could sign Fedor, or if he would want to fight for UFC/leave Affliction.
They might need to sign Lashley, too. But two former pro wrestlers could be problematic, especially if they fight each other.
