and then it's also in other medications. if you take vicodin/norco, you're also taking the equivalent of a tylenol with each one.

someone takes 2 norco every 4 hours is already at 3900mg.
they take 1 tylenol and they're over.
even if they only take the norco every 6 hours, they are usually taking enough extra strength tylenol to put themselves over the recommendation
