There are two ways *you* get to affect the system: You either vote for someone running, or you run for office.

Bitching about the tone of the campaign or a candidate's supporters or the policies being put into place gains you absolutely nothing.
You may have a right to complain, but the weight of those complaints is practically zero because you refused to do either of the two things that could make a difference.
