More than respect. Abject fealty.


I respected a lot of George W. Bush's decisions even if I didn't really agree with 'em. I figure that he had more information and better advisors than I did.

But there were a lot of that President's decisions that I just wholeheartedly disagreed with.

I think it's that "all or nothing" dynamic that is at play here. People will follow whatever Marjorie Taylor Green, or Jim Jordan, or Donald Trump or whoever else without question.

And then they will spread those lies to their Facebook friends and relatives, at least some of whom will just passively agree ("Well, if ________ sent it to me, it must be true")
