In a normal year Djokovic's next tournament after Wimbledon would have been the Rogers Open which starts August 9th.

He would have taken a month and a half off of tournament play after Wimbledon and then used Toronto and Cincinnati to prepare for the US Open. He's withdrawn from Toronto, and he's Djokovic so he could still win with a modified schedule, but it's not his usual preparation.
