I had to run a mile in under 7:30 to try out for the basketball team. You could run any day leading up to the start. I ran the first day. Every lap my 2 friends and I ran the coach looked at his watch and grimaced. We thought we were tight on time. On the last lap he yelled to us to pick it up. We sprinted that final lap and finished in 5:40. When he told us the time he laughed. We were not happy.
