Why not web? Web = desktop. Plus you eliminate having to support/upgrade desktop installs when making changes. -- nm

javascript won't do it. python has an odbc api that might work (you'd have to do some research) -- nm

Yeah, I run PHP locally all the time - and depending on the intent of the database, it could be a stepping stone to making it more widely accessible.
