and i do get where you're coming from...

you paid a LOT of money. it doesn't feel fair. but i also have friends with $60k i school debt making $28k a year and they are borderline suicidal.
i paid for my college, i had debt, paid it off, i'm good. but i still remember that stress.
if our government functioned so that we collectively actually decided where our money went, instead of it being predetermined that the military gets most of it, and the rest is just carved up on whatever, we could probably agree that yeah, let's use OUR money to pay off all the debt, then make sure this doesn't happen again. but none of that is our reality.
