I get it, but your argument is flawed in at least two ways that I can see.

1. Kids under 12 can’t get the vaccine yet.

2. Introducing a non-zero risk of transmitting a breakthrough infection increases the chances of variants emerging that are able to evade the current vaccine, thus putting everyone at risk, not just the unvaccinated.
