It's usually a case of being overly aggressive, and they tend to break down realizing how a split-second mistake has dashed their Olympic dream.

There's an ROC woman who wanted a sub-7 time and missed her last jump. She hung in the air, sobbing uncontrollably. It was hard to watch.
