As you know I follow the podcast and love all of you. As people and as voice talents there.
When that first Podcast came out about Raya's Nielsen numbers and you all speculated the dollar value based on the Nielsen minutes, I was screaming no in my head. It was an unknowable thing. There was no way to tell how many dollars it made on Premiere Access based off those minutes.
There's just too many factors at play. Repeat viewings, shared accounts, etc.. The only reason we know anything is because Disney finally shared.
But then when you guys doubled down on Raya being a huge Premiere Access hit after the Black Widow numbers came out, I was like OMG! Why would they crow about this movie and be silent about a movie that made $40 million more?
Raya is a really good movie, and may one day get a sequel based on word of mouth, but it's not a huge financial success.
