That dude’s character served zero purpose. He could’ve just as easily been a generic scientist or for that matter, several scientists. Wouldn’t have mattered in the slightest.
I thought it was too much wink wink and clever by half. And I know it’s a comic book movie so this is dumb to say but way too much amazing precision and just making the jump for me.
