in a venue sized for about 200. We did not require masks. We did not ask nor check people's status. I'm reasonably certain that most if not all were vaccinated. Maybe 10% wore masks into the building. There was food and drink so no one really was wearing them throughout the evening. Tables were at most 10 people (big circles)
So to some degree it feels hypocritical to be saying this, that or the other about COVID right now after having organized such an event. We already postponed this event a year and guess I'm just feeling conflicted. I'm on board with stopping this virus but I'm also exhausted and pissed and at a point where I'm weighing risk and coming down on the side of "I've done enough"
