There’s some overlap between Olympic and Paralympic events where I think the events could be merged.

Archery, for instance. Maybe rowing or some of the running events. Paralympics also has bocce. But, to be clear, I don’t want to deny Paralympic athletes their chance at victory. I just think they’ve earned a chance to compete in the Olympics.

In most cases there’s nothing stopping Paralympic athletes from competing in the Olympics. Plenty of people have done it. - mafic Aug 9, 18:51 3
