In many ways, yes. For all the hate for blockchain and criticisms of privacy, etc., it is the most transparent ledger around

Those transactions/coins can (almost) never be obscured and 100% can be traced back to a person IF that person every associates themselves with a transaction in the future. I haven't dug deep but there are apparently some ways to obfuscate things but because all transactions are out in the open, there's nowhere to hide really
