that's garbage. you may also want to look for a classical guitar if it's for a class. it's easier on the fingers and the fretboard is wide, action

is pretty easy.
Takamini makes a really solid guitar that's in the $200 range (i have one i got in Singapore, it's well made and easy to play). Their steel string acoustics are also solid, although factory made for the lower end stuff.
