Makita, the power tool guys, make a coffee machine.

When you unpack it, it makes sense. It's cordless and uses the Makita battery packs. It's a single-serve coffee machine for using on the job site. There's some confusing information in the video, in that it doesn't "also use pods", but rather it has a compatible adapter for those individual coffee filter packets that you find in hotel rooms. There's usually nothing special about those. You can buy them in the grocery store and use them in your regular home drip coffee maker. But this one needs a special adapter (which it comes with).
