Whatever the reason the city doesn't support the Rays. They just don't go to games no matter how good the team is playing. -- (edited)

Spring training games aren't real baseball games. It's fun for the fans but you're rarely seeing a complete game with the teams at full strength.
If it's transplants or whatever the reason, they don't have support in the city.
Tampa has been really good for over a decade now. They were in the World Series last year and are in first place right now. They had less than 5k people show up to watch them play.
The stadium is the worst in sports which doesn't help things. I understand the location is poor as well.
I'm sorry for their 4k fans but that's not good enough to support a major league baseball team when there are cities begging for a team.
It's time to move them out of Florida for less sunny weather but better support.
