And I have an accounting degree.
My dad likes taxes, they're like a puzzle to him!

I hate it and want the IRS to do it for me and just send me a copy to review and approve. -- nm

Started when I was 23. Dad did it for the year I moved from undergrad to grad school I know because that's when I changed my state of residence

The year I moved from Chicago to NYC was painful for me, doing partial year forms for both states.

I was 18 or 19. I would go to the library and get the forms to fill out at home. -- nm

Ha! I don't know why I wanted to do them myself but I probably thought it made me an independent adult and at the time I wanted nothing more than to

I was just thinking that as a teenager his parents would have handled things like this. I worked at 14 and certainly didn't file my own taxes then but

Ah. I started working at 16, and did them myself. Correctly or incorrectly, who knows. :-) -- nm

Interesting. It seems a few people started doing it themselves at 16 or so. My parents had a guy that came to the house and my mom would have him do
