She got to the ER early yesterday afternoon. At some point they decided to admit her.
The ER she was at was a free-standing ER-only of one of the local hospital chains. Apparently they wanted to put a hospital there but the other hospital chain fought it, so only an ER got built ???
So they had to wait for a room at one of the actual hospitals and a transport. Aunt got transported at 1am. The guy had 7 more transports to do after that.
No news really at this point. They are withholding food, either for tests or surgery, we don't know which because the doctor has not seen her yet. She CAN have 1 visitor at the hospital (unlike at the ER which was no visitors) but she has ordered my Mom to stay away 'because of COVID and you're old' :)
