Now comes news that only one other co-worker of hers is going to be there and that the host has done "so much buying" at the State Farmers' Market lately, she has decided to make this a "celebrate locally grown vegetables party" and has asked everyone to make/bring a dish that contains local fruits and vegetables. (Begging the question "But I thought she was trying to push all her veggie purchases via this party?")

So I replied back in e-mail: "You are taking me to a party thrown by an employee where you will know one other person. It will celebrate vegetables. We have to bring a dish. Yay?"
