Basically, people taking it for depression noticed that their nicotine cravings went away. Surprise side effect. -- nm

Viagra was first planned as a heart pill. When they went to get the samples back from the participants, they wouldn't give them up. -- nm

There is a drug called Revatio that is the same thing as Viagra and indicated for pulmonary hypertension.

Actually it makes a lot of sense, chemically. Nicotine affects the same neurotransmitters as Wellbutrin.

Looks like they were mucking around with a product used only in europe for smoking cessation and Chantix was derived from it. -- nm
