In this case, it's trying to get people to re-think the assumption that vaccine immunity is waning.

The assumption by most people is that it is waning. The question is asking if it really is. Questions to combat blanket assumptions and misinformation are okay by me.
I also understand that headline writing is almost always sensationalist. That headline is only a 5 or 6 on that scale to me.
