I'm not sure if I'd have watched Gone with the Wind if I hadn't been with a huge fan of the movie.

2001 went right along with my whole space race fascination while I was growing up and it wasn't until much later and many re-watches later that I realized that there was something else going beyond the glorious shots of the hardware.
