During the pandemic, the 'use it or lose it' slots rules at the NYC airports have been suspended. That's due to end in October.

And thus, American Airlines, plans to run 9 daily JFK-Philly flights to retain their slots in the cheapest way possible :/

I figure you wouldn't be going directly from the plane to the ship right? Probably in a hotel for the night?

No, non-stop isn't generally an option out of SNA. And yes I'd be headed for a hotel, I believe there's a Hilton right there. -- nm*
