Rockstar North was originally DMA Design Limited and are based in Scotland. They made Lemmings in 1991 and GTA in 1997. After business things they would eventually become Rockstar North under the Rockstar Games label.
I loved Lemmings so much and I think I played a version of it last year. Still fun and challenging.
