While I'm not that big into necessarily having [blank] people filling roles equal to their real lives, Queer As Folk signs gay actors for gay roles.

The original versions, both British and American, did need more diversity overall though. And that's a very welcome change. However, I still say that if they can't push the skin envelope -- which they can't if it's on Peacock -- it probably won't measure up anyway.
