The other thing is that the first half of season one is vastly inferior to the second half.

The banquet episode is terrific, but the show REALLY takes it up a notch with those final three episodes. So, judging a partial season two seems counterintuitive.
I don't like what they're doing with Nate, who was so sweet last season, but I trust them to tell good stories.
