If you can demonstrate you have an independent income that is equal to the minimum wage in Portugal. They call it the "retired visa", but it's actually open to whoever can have that income. And once you are there, you can actually work, too.

I believe my parents would easily qualify. As for me, well, maybe, I would need to do the math.
