It's a great song and I was humming along to it, until it suddenly dawned on me what the lyrics were

I kept on enjoying the song after that, too, but I don't think I hummed much after it anymore - it just felt too absurd
"Our" guy shot hundreds, killing 68 or so, on that island. I had been to a conference at the big hotel close to that island, only 6 months earlier, with one of the last guys killed on the island on that day. He was our quiz-master on one of those two hotel nights.
