Below convo made me realize: I'm not sure that I ever went into the cafeteria at my high school. Seriously, ever.

We had "open lunch" where you could eat wherever you wanted in the school. My friends and I always brought lunch so we sat on the floor in the hallway.

I went out to lunch most of my four years. I had a pizzeria, deli, burger spot, etc. If it rained or it was really cold I had lunch in the cafeteria. -- nm - Krusty Sep 7, 13:39
