Technically it is in Long Island City, because Broadway is the dividing line between LIC and Astoria, but it's very close by. Right next to the MMI there is a television studio. Don't know who is currently using it, but I believe the Sopranos filmed there.

Astoria/LIC is a kickass neighborhood and I hope you take advantage of it.
