I mean, even the shabby looking Alemeda Mall (near Hobby) which I've never been inside, is always jammed with cars.

I like Baybrook Mall. It's close. Near NASA. Almost two malls with the outside area combined with the traditional one.
First Colony in Sugar Land, TX is not quite as large, but far more clean and international.
Sometimes I'll go to the Galleria which is the big time fancy pants mall. But it's so sprawling and ridiculously glitzy, I only go to play PokemonGo.
