I think you're mixing up definitions of the word threat in this thread (completely accidentally, I mean). You're saying "this is a looming problem."

Andie and the rest of us are saying it reads specifically like "Vote for us *or else*".
If they can't get votes without a threat of something worse happening, then they need to get in the sea of irrelevancy.
But *observing* that there is a looming threat is different.
At least that's my read on the conversation so far. I could be rambling nonsensically.
