It's bad enough when a woman with date/sleep with/live with any guy who comes along because they feel that they always have to have a man. But for this chick to keep holding onto a lazy passive-aggressive jerk out of fear that she'll always be alone is pathetic. If you're really her friend you need to do whatever it takes for her to get this crap out of her head. It's pretty clear she has no self-esteem, so I'd start with that. :)
