There are a ton of people who do that. Delete comments rather soon after they've been posted. Most are using it to avoid troll detection though.

But considering that Reddit changed how they show accounts you've blocked from being completely gone to a version of the Slackertalk Baconized, I've used Reddit a lot lot less.

At least I've still got the baby account icon Apollo puts helpfully on new accounts less than a few months.
