A 737 MAX as well
The new engines are pretty easy to pick out compared to other 737s but I thought these were longer by a couple of rows or so. Couldn’t see that difference between the Max and the older version at the next gate over

Not sure what airline, but if Southwest: they run the 737-800 and the 737 MAX 8, both the same dimensions with same number of seats

I thought today may have been a Max, but I guess it was a regular 800. The first leg was a Embraer 175 :/ -- nm

John Wayne or LAX? If the former we must have practically passed each other in the concourse :)
