it's been the same with my parents. nothing has changed for them, my younger brother just capitulated and lets them do whatever they want

yeah, there's no stick. but if you're okay knowing i think you're treating my safety as not important, that's what you live with.
it'll make the inevitable cutting them out of our lives a little bit easier, if they don't do it first.
