We'll get a good read in a few weeks when pre-sales data comes out. I just don't see anyone outside fans of the comic getting excited. -- nm

It’s the most powerful Marvel comic book characters ever in a film from the person who just won Best Picture. Don’t overthink it. -- nm

(I kind of don't care about "oscar winning director." also to be honest angelina jolie makes me way less likely to see it in theatres.) -- nm

It's "the next Avengers superhero team" demo and the film Disney has been talking up since the start of the pandemic.

I think high 80s / low 90s (not 100) but david's correct that it's going to be pretty big. it looks accessible to non-marvel fans.

It's certainly possible, but I don't think high 80s or low 90s gets it to top 3 for the year. -- nm

so so stoked for this. A Marvel title I never ever imagined could reach the silver screen (kinda like GOTG).
