BTW that doesn't mean FB's content is gone. It's all still there. It just means, as far as the internet is concerned, there is no Facebook right now

and therefore no way to find it/connect to it.

Basically, if this were the 80s and you called 4-1-1 to get Facebook's phone number, there would be no listing in the directory for Facebook because their listing got deleted (even though Facebook existed down on main street despite the deletion in the directory)
