Russia's main issue is that they keep killing themselves off, they are least populated for all the land mass....

yeah I know half of it is frozen tundra, but since the days of Stalin's forced starvation and other mass murder, nazi invasion and mass murder, purges and then their national pass time of drinking themselves to death...
they have a population of 'only' 144m (i had guessed a mere 250m and was surprised it was closer to half that.)
