I've successfully pushed a bunch of meetings off to Wednesday next week or later.

Basically if it's not critical/time-sensitive, I'm pushed people off.
We just happen to be in a period with a lot of critical/time-sensitive stuff. But everything else, I am (with only minor guilt/stress) telling people it has to wait for my own good.
