Does it though? It seems to me that if it's not prosecuted it gives a blue print to future presidents that there is no consequences for abusing the

power and independence of the AG. That is exactly what Trump was trying to do. Biden shouldn't direct the prosecution, but that shouldn't tie Garland's hands either.
