Excel point me in the right direction question.

I can research and experiment, but looking for what direction I should be looking.
Say I have a spreadsheet with columns...
First-Middle-Last-Age-Height-Hair-Gender-Weight
I want to be able enter Hair = Blonde and be able to get the First-Middle-Last of everyone who matches that.
Once I have that I want to be able to get First-Middle-Last of everyone whose Weight is 150.
I have a lot more columns than that and my attempts using LOOKUPs have gotten complicated very quickly. Any ideas of what functions I should be looking at? Maybe a Pivot Table?
This is really better suited for a database, but Excel is what I have to work with.
