I joked to Kim the other day that we had the same season as a fictional soccer team.

As for Crimm, you're missing something vital here. He did his job. He didn't like it, but he turned in the assignment.

Then, the Ted Lasso influence kicked in. So, he did right by his friend and told him. Then, he did right by his job and told them.

That Trent Crimm story arc IS Ted Lasso.
