The show did a terrific job in showing that Nate got this from his father, who treated him terribly.

Yes, the signs of asshole behavior have always been there, but the Ted Lasso training should kick in at some point. Otherwise, that entire story arc is a miss.

The one thing I wonder is how much the contract negotiations will impact this angle. Apple has told the producers that they want as much as Ted Lasso as they can possibly have. So, that three-season story arc may get stretched.
