tuesday after first monday in november. wtf? waiting forty-odd days so every elector can make it to DC on horseback. voting on tuesday so nobody has to make the way to the ballot on god's sunday. voting for electors who (in theory) then elect the pres. but they can't change their mind or vote for whom they think is best? that was all nice when the west was won.
