While I won't argue with people putting Connery over Lazenby, I don't think the final scene in OHMSS would have been as impactful with Connery.

Connery lacked an emotional depth - something that made him great in the previous movies, but was vital to that scene. And since that scene made the movie, IMO Lazenby was the right choice at the time.
